This post may be a quicky, and honestly I wish it didn’t have to be that way because the sounds of Brooklyn-based Au Revoir Simone certainly deserve more time. I’ve been listening to their 2005 release Verses of Comfort, Assurance & Salvation and I’ve been diggin’ the sort of casio-beat lullaby pop feel of the whole thing.  Then of course, I discover that they have a new release which came out on May 19th, 2009.  I haven’t had an opportunity to give the whole album a listen, but from the few tracks I’ve heard making their way around the “blogo-mo-sphere” I’m fully in. To band members Erika Forster, Annie Hart, and Heather D’Angelo; I apologize. I wanted this post to be longer. If… or… when, we meet I swear I will have more time.
