I’m still surprised by the recent ruling of the Polaris prize judges. When I heard the hardcore group Fucked Up took the $20,000 I didn’t quite get it. Well, I still don’t. But I suppose if it has some innovative qualities similar to Refused’s The Shape Of Punk To Come, then it’s somewhat deserving.
